My family’s favorite holiday is Halloween and we love turning our house into a spooky haunted mansion for the season. My mom is such a skilled decorator that I refused to go in certain rooms in my house when I was younger because they were so creepy! My brothers even made this hilarious home movie using a fake detached arm prop and some fishing line. It was about how the arm came to life and was tormenting us in our house. With that being said, I have been to every spook-tacular haunted house, pumpkin patch, and corn maze in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania area.
A must see is Dorney Park’s Halloween Haunt. From September 21 to October 27, the park transforms and features haunted mazes, haunted houses, rides and monsters lurking through the park. My favorite aspect of this park is the “Cornstalkers” haunted maze. Grab your friends and find your way through the corn maze but beware, there are cornstalkers creeping around every corner and they blend right in! I also love how they have different creepy characters roaming the park that go by the section you’re in. Expect clowns in the carnival section, carnivorous crustaceans by the Jolly Roger, scarecrows with chainsaws near the corn mazes, and more! They also have a children’s alternative during the day called The Great Pumpkin Fest, full of scare-free activities. Join in on some pumpkin painting, mask making, fun houses and the hay maze.
Not in the mood to get spooked? Then head on down to Grim’s Orchard and Family Farms; they have so many fun activities to choose from. Take a tour of the farm on a hayride, or test your eye with their apple cannon. Find your way out of the corn maze or grab a wagon and head out to pick the best pumpkins and apples. They also have an entire Play Corral for kids featuring pedal karts, bounce pillows and plenty of games like corn hole and duck races. Also, the desserts there are delicious. They have apple cider donuts, apple cider slushies and peach sundaes! I highly recommend the apple cider donuts topped with vanilla ice cream. I get it every year! They even have a farmers market open all day where they sell their delicious apples, fresh cut flowers, homemade jams and more. The cost of your trip will depend on the amount of activities you plan to partake in.

First off I wanted to say that the layout of your site is awesome. Very well organized and easy to navigate. Next I can completely relate to this because I have attended Dorney Park around Halloween. I completely agree that it is super cool the way they do the different costumes based on park sections too. Also, it is kinda freaky at night, especially going through the maze!
