Nancy Xu is a senior industrial engineering student with a minor in economy. Excepting to experience different cultures and to get a better education, she stepped out of her comfort zone and transferred from China to the University of Pittsburgh. She is now getting involved in a project relating to Red Cross disaster monitoring. As a future engineer, she treats her working rigorously. However, beyond that, she also has a great passion to explore the world as a backpacker.
Nancy Xu always treats traveling as her greatest passion, since the adventures can fulfill her eagerness for exploring new things. She is an experienced traveler, having been to most parts of China, also many Asian countries, such as Singapore and Japan. Currently, she is attending college in the United States as an international student, trying to share every single traveling moment with all the readers. Feeling trapped by her identity as a foreigner at the beginning, she gets a sense of belonging when she reads and learns from some travel blogs, which made her realize how wonderful the interwoven cultures are. Her gradually changing thoughts make her feel qualified to speak on the traveling blog. Nancy understands the fear and loneliness of a traveler, so she hopes to give her audiences inspiration to jumpstart and fulfill their wanderlust in every part of the world.
